Further care and attention is to be kept during this phase of the plant's life. It is important that your grow tent's environment is maintained at the ideal humidity and temperature levels. Humidity is one factor to keep in check as it can cause the development of mould and spores which can spoil your buds! Having a fan in your tent to circulate air is a great method of prevention for this.
Keeping a close eye on the plant is a priority to ensure you can respond immediately should you detect any deficiency in nutrients (be sure to keep pH within the range of 5 - 7, this will ensure your plant will be able to absorb the required nutrients). It is also worth bearing in mind that pests could also potentially have a negative effect on the plant, should you notice any mites or other insects, be sure to react as swiftly as possible to reduce the chance of damage being caused.
Ideal conditions to maintain for your tent:
40% - 50% RH
22°C - 26°C Temperature

The buds on your plant should now really be looking thicker and coated with that lovely resin. Many autoflower plants would be ready to harvest soon after this point, though not all plants grow and develop at the same pace. This varies between individual plants and genetics too, so if you may not be at this stage just yet, relax and just keep maintaining it as you have previously by supporting it's healthy growth.
You may begin to flush your plant at this point if you made use of nutrients. To do so, simply flood the potting mix with water, and wait till it empties. The repetition of this process will allow for the removal of any left-over nutrients from the soil, and promotes better tasting buds! Defoliation may be incorporated to enhance yields at this point. You can trim away smaller fan leaves which may be blocking out the light from the buds and hindering their growth. By allowing more light to hit those nodes, they'll grow bigger as well as more potent.
Week 9:
Nearing the end of your growing journey for this plant, you should now be able to see the results of your patience, hard work, and care. Coming to a close at this point, it is important to continue maintaining the ideal environment in your tent. These can be kept as close to the aforementioned conditions in week 8.
In this time, the plant may also begin to brown or discolour. This would be a part of the natural process that the plant goes through in it's lifetime, and there would be no reason for concern. Just a short while longer before harvesting now!
