Autoflowers are cannabis strains which automatically change stages from vegetative growth into the flowering stage simply based upon the plant's age. Normal photoperiod plants would do so based upon the amount of light being absorbed by the plant. This essentially makes autoflower strains a great choice for the less experienced grower, and still allows awesome growth for buds. Despite being smaller when compared to full-size photoperiod plants, these little guys can still produce large yields!

Here are some quick points about autoflowers:
Easier to grow and require less attention due to robust genetics.
Short harvesting time - They usually take between 8-13 weeks to reach harvest depending on the specific plant strain.
No need for adjusting light schedules to transition from vegetative to flowering stage.
More resistant to diseases and sickness.
Smaller in size making them more manageable.
